I tried it out and it the cap-pulling-the-nib worked! VERY little mess too. I was perplexed by the "removal of the guts" bit in your tutorial that took place after the nib removal. What's happening there? I suppose that's an adventure to encounter in the future....Thanks!

if you have several different safaris already you can simply mix and match them already….if you also have a Vista you can use the vista grip and pair it with the safari body to replicate an AL star

Beim deep blue gefällt mir die Farbe, besonders die schön schimmernde Griffzone. Besonders gut gefällt mir aber, dass Ober-und Unterteil gut Aufeinanderliegen und das Gewinde keinen Spielraum zulässt. Man kann also mit dem Finger über die Oberfläche des Kulis streichen ohne die Kanten des Oberschatzes bzw. des Griffteils zu spüren. Ich habe wohl alleine wegen des tollen Designs viele ältere Lamy-noto-Modelle bei denen die Ebenheit der Oberfläche nicht so gut geklappt hat. Gratuliere!

I have this pen and it is awesome! True Bauhaus design in its finest form.

I purchased the above about two years ago from Amazon UK. Recently, when I use the digital ncode remotely with the notebook and without the app, when I come to sync onto the iPad, there's no data. The pen in settings shows no data to sync. I have reset the pen and followed the instructions as supplied Lamy_Langanleitung_safari_ncode and all appears to work and connect. When the app is open the pen does works in live mode. I do notice that when I turn the pen on in remote mode, the blue light flashes, then it turns to green, and then the green light continues to flash as I am writing in my Lamy digital notebook. Specification: The pen has a full charge and can be turned on and switched off. I am using an iPad Pro 12 2022 running the latest edition of 17.1.2 Neostudio22 edition is up to date Bluetooth shows the connection of the pen Digital Lamy notebook neo.lab is the notebook I am using. So everything appears to be correct. I emailed customer@lamy.de no response and I can’t seem to find a helpline so if anyone reads this at Lamy some support would be good. Thanks

I just got this pen, for use on the Boox Tab Ultra C. Is it normal for the nib to have a bit of flex? E.g. it’s like there is a bit of movement when writing?
